Our client operates within the high-end hospitality industry, offering a refined cocktail and dining experience in a premium location. The establishment is known for its curated ambiance, quality service, and innovative beverage offerings.

POSITION INFO:
This dual-role position involves overseeing daily bar operations while actively contributing to cocktail preparation and service. The primary focus is on management, with mixology expertise being a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operational flow, maintain service standards, and lead a team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily bar operations, including stock control, staff management, and service protocols
Lead the bar team through active supervision and professional engagement with guests
Support and train staff in cocktail preparation and service quality
Manage shift scheduling and coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Execute opening and closing procedures
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times
Monitor and respond to guest feedback to ensure satisfaction
Implement procedures to optimize efficiency and service delivery
Adapt to seasonal and event-driven operational demands
Contribute to menu development and drink innovation

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a bar setting with cocktail preparation exposure
Prior managerial or supervisory experience in hospitality
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends

Remuneration:
R10 000 – R15 000 monthly (Highly dependent on experience)
