POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leading financial institution that thrives on innovation, robust risk management, and data-driven insights. They’re looking for a Model Validation Analyst (Decision Science) to validate and challenge models across credit risk, finance, capital modelling, and fraud detection. This is an opportunity to be at the heart of financial transformation — where your work directly impacts
business-critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct end-to-end validation of credit risk, financial, and fraud models.
Build and assess challenger models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and compliance.
Apply data mining and predictive modelling techniques to support validation.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure models remain fit-for-purpose.
Support regulatory compliance and sound risk management through rigorous model assurance.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

3–6 years’ experience in scorecard development, validation, and monitoring (credit risk application/behavior models or marketing).
Strong understanding of the full credit life cycle.
Hands-on experience in data mining, predictive analytics, and model building.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across multiple model types.
Collaborative mindset with proven ability to engage across technical and business teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science (Honors or postgraduate degree preferred).
