SUMMARY:

Are you passionate about data, analytics, and risk management? We’re looking for a Model Validation Analyst to join a dynamic team that ensures the accuracy, robustness, and compliance of models used across critical business areas.

POSITION INFO:

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on technical challenges, enjoys building and validating models, and wants to make a real impact in financial decision-making and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do:

Validate and challenge models across domains such as credit risk, finance, capital modelling, and fraud detection.
Build challenger models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with technical and business teams to provide assurance on model governance and performance.

What We’re Looking For:

3–6 years’ experience in scorecard development, validation, and monitoring (credit risk or marketing models).
Strong background in data mining, predictive modelling, and understanding of the credit lifecycle.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Education:

Minimum: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science.
Preferred: Honours in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science.
