POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leader in the financial services sector, committed to making banking simple, accessible, and impactful. They are looking for a Model Validation Analyst (Financial Modelling) to strengthen their team.

You’ll be part of a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration drives success. Working across credit risk, finance, and fraud domains, you’ll validate critical models, provide independent assurance, and contribute to the accuracy and governance of systems that keep the business running strong.

This role is a perfect fit if you’re excited by technical problem-solving, cross-team collaboration, and using your analytical skills to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct end-to-end validations of financial, risk, and forecasting models.
Build and test challenger models to benchmark and improve current practices.
Provide independent assurance on the accuracy, robustness, and compliance of models.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure that models are fit-for-purpose in an evolving environment.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science.
3+ years in financial modelling (forecasting, stress testing, IFRS 9 provisions, pricing, or capital modelling).
Strong analytical ability, with attention to detail, and capability to work across multiple model types.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.
