Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Social Economic Impact Organisation Salary: R800K Contract type: 2-year contract, Onsite (Sandton) Minimum Requirements: Completed Honours or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as monitoring and evaluation, statistics, or economics. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, or a related field from Social\/Economic Impact, Youth Development or Community Development environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Certification in monitoring and evaluation (e.g., M&E Certified Professional) is advantageous. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in one or more additional South African languages being advantageous. Key Responsibilities: Design and Implementation of M&E Systems: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, plans, and systems to track program performance and impact. Data Collection and Analysis : Design and implement data collection tools, collect and analyse data, and ensure data quality and management. Reporting and Dissemination : Prepare and submit regular reports to stakeholders, including donors, government, and internal management. Program Evaluation : Design and conduct evaluations, including baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluations, to assess program effectiveness and impact. Capacity Building : Provide training and technical assistance to program staff and partners on M&E concepts, tools, and methods.
