We are looking for an experienced Mothership Warehouse Manager for our client in KwaZulu Natal. We currently have various roles available for our branches in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and KwaZulu Natal.

 

This is a permanent opportunity, we are looking for your 7 to 10 yearsâ?? experience in Warehouse Operations in the Retail Industry.

 

The Mothership Warehouse Operations Manager will own end-to-end operations for one of the companies largest wholesale warehouses, managing a diverse set of teammates, functions and responsibilities.

Successful candidates will pair high drive with an advanced level of attention-to-detail -- the role will require the candidate to think proactively, introducing new technology and innovating on key processes to manage large-scale operations.

The role will be a core part of the companies rapidly scaling supply chain network.

 

Minimum educational level:                                                      

• Minimum National Diploma / BTech or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehouse Management

We are looking for the following work experience to perform the following

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prior experience with effectively managing inventory, vendors and third-parties
• Ability to proactively own operational tasks with consistency and reliability
• Excellence in staying organized and documenting key outcomes
• Strong communication skills, especially with riders / delivery operators
• Optimize, coordinate and achieve KPIs for full procurement to payment cycle
• Strategically plan and manage warehouse operations, logistics and transportation
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and distributors
• Lead, coach and nurture a diverse team of operators within a wholesale warehouse
• Report daily KPIs for better understanding of the performance drivers
• Proactively identify opportunity areas, executing on these and communicating well with all stakeholders
