Multi-Manager Unitization Implementation Specialist

SUMMARY:
A leading financial services provider is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Specialist to join its dynamic team. This role sits within the Investment Services division and focuses on complex Multi-Manager Unitization and Transition activities.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of portfolio structures, manage cash flows, and coordinate fund transition processes.
• Perform oversight and analysis of daily NAV pricing, including impact assessments, ad hoc unit price rebuilds, and validation of product performance for clients.
• Review and monitor policyholder fee accruals such as:
  
  • Management fees
  • Capital Gains Tax (as per Schedule 8 of the Income Tax Act)
  • Dividend Withholding Tax (DWT), REIT tax, and other asset-based taxes
• Manage business process enhancements for onboarding new clients and portfolio changes.
• Collaborate across functional teams to ensure robust and efficient operational processes are in place.
• Lead or contribute to specialized projects, including weekend implementations when required.

Requirements

• A relevant BCom degree (or equivalent qualification).
• 5 – 7 years of experience in an Investment Operations or Asset Management environment, preferably within a Multi-Manager setup.
• Exposure to unitization systems (e.g., Interlink) and investment admin platforms such as InvestOne, HiPort, Eagle One AIMS, or SMAC would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of asset-based taxation (CGT, DWT, etc.).
• Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• High attention to detail and technical accuracy.
