POSITION INFO:
The Role:

Well established Design company is on the lookout for a Multimedia Designer with a problem-solving attitude and out-of-the-box thinking.

To be successful in this position, youâ??ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas and show amazing attention to detail.

Within our creative team, the multimedia designer will collaborate very closely with other multimedia designers, instructional designers, developers and quality control to produce the best solution for the clientsâ?? environment.

Essential Experience:

• 4+ years of experience within design and/or e-learning design
• Advanced knowledge and experience in using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Advanced, practical knowledge of MS products
• Experience in other Adobe Suite programmes is advantageous
• Experience with both Apple and Microsoft platforms
• A sound understanding of multimedia design, marketing, corporate identity and website design
• Attention to detail, on design and overall balance, i.e. colour, spacing, layout, negative space

Essential Qualification:

• Bachelorâ??s degree in graphic design or related field

Advantageous:

• Knowledge on how to use photography and recording equipment

• Design and plan materials for a wide range of applications
• Create marketing materials. Knowledge of how to apply branding is imperative
• Develop advanced PowerPoint presentations using existing content and brand guidelines
• Use Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro to create animation videos
• Create templates using a wide range of MS products
• Use photography and recording equipment to produce professional materials including edited photographs, video and voice recordings
• Create basic web pages with the use of web builders
• Keep up to date with industry trends and apply trends to own work
• Conceptualise and brainstorm creative ideas with the team
• Communicate with clients, other departments, web developers and the marketing department when necessary
• Thrive in a deadline-driven environment and take responsibility for delivering on agreed upon times
• Balance the need to operate independently, or work as part of a team, as tasks require
• Work on multiple projects at the same time
