SUMMARY:
Diversified, multinational consumer brand business and our Apparel Division includes a number of well-known aspirational brands.

POSITION INFO:

▪To execute the wholesale growth strategy that will drive sales and maximise profitability within

Wholesale for two leading apparel brands

▪Responsible for achieving the agreed objectives and sales targets for the Wholesale Channel and

execution of the regional sales plan.

▪Keep abreast of emerging markets, market shifts with an awareness of new products and

competition status, providing market and customer feedback.

▪Directly manage the top five accounts.

▪Build and promote strong commercial relationships with new and existing Clients by understanding

their needs and objectives.

▪Partner with wholesale accounts to drive effective demand management on event forecasting for

in-store activities (e.g. promotions).

▪Liaise with Clients regarding in-store space allocations.

▪Analysis, tracking and reporting of key metrics and overall performance of the brand.

▪Provide input into the assortment planning cycle to ensure the range presented drives volume

growth and builds the brand at wholesale.

▪To organise and prepare for range launch and sell – in of seasonal product lines.

▪Monitor account performance to understand the account’s priorities, challenges and successfully

resolve issues of concern in a manner that builds the account relationship and revenue.

▪To provide realistic plans and forecasts based on customer performance and to ensure continuous

monitoring of sell out data and cost effective orderbook conversion.

▪To lead and inspire a high performing Sales team with a focus on teamwork and accountability, to

deliver the commercial performance of the Brands in order to grow market share, exceed financial

targets and deliver best in class customer service.

Essential: Matric

▪Desirable: Relevant business/retail tertiary qualification

▪Essential: 5+ years Sales Management experience within the wholesale channel in a retail

environment

▪Essential: Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
