SUMMARY:
Our Client is seeking a National Logistics Manager to lead and oversee transportation and supply chain operations across South Africa. This role is responsible for ensuring timely product deliveries, optimizing logistics processes, managing inventory, maintaining high customer service standards, and leading a team of logistics coordinators and drivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency and cost improvements.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
At least 5 years’ experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably in FMCG.
3–5 years’ proven experience in a management or team leadership role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain regulations, compliance, and warehousing KPIs.
Experience with fleet management and maintenance.
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Commercial and financial acumen, with strong numerical skills.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office; ERP system knowledge (e.g., SAGE Evolution) advantageous.
Knowledge of OHS, quality management, and risk management systems.
Self-motivated, resilient, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
