Qualifications required:

Must have completed a 3 year Degree or equivalent - this is a non-negotiable requirement
Completed MBA will be given preference

Skills and experience required:

Extensive experience within the Automotive or Retail industry
8 - 10 years’ experience running a business as an Operations Director / Managing Director or equivalent.
Notable business performance achievements
Excellent planning and organising skills
Ability to identify and solve problems
Ability to identify new business opportunities
Ability to perform in challenging and competitive markets
People management and development experience
Strong financial and business acumen
Business savvy and business minded
Excellent at building and maintain key client relations

Job description:

Drive and ensure that budgeted profits are met by managing operating costs and business performance
Strengthening and maximising profitability
Building and maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders
Focus on and ensure top quality customer service
Manage continuous training and development of staff
Lead and manage day to day business performance
Manage all business operations (sales, marketing, after-sales, logistics, etc)
Develop and implement strategies and processes
Develop and implement financial risk management strategies and processes
Cost saving initiatives
Contract and relationship management with clients
Business planning
Quality assurance
Ensure compliance to legislative changes

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications required:

Complete Bcom
Complete MBA is advantageous

Skills and experience required:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience within the Automotive industry
Must have experience managing multiple dealerships
Minimum of 5 – 8 years’ in a DP/GM/MD position
Applicants must have been a DP/ GM / DP for more than one dealership at a time encompassing the workshop and sales
Proven track record running a successful automotive dealership/s

Ensure dealership is accurately recording movement of stock and any other sales
Develop and implement strategies and processes from head office
Drive and ensure that budgeted profits are met by managing operating costs
