Our client is looking for a National Quality Manager to join their team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for a National Quality Manager to join their team.

Design and implement standardized systems and best practices to guarantee quality assurance.
Design and implement site quality improvement plans.
Conduct relevant laboratory, hygiene, sanitation and supplier quality audits and follow up on corrective actions.
Take initiative in driving innovation with regards to quality
Monitor non-conformance measurements and implement relevant quality improvement plans to reduce complaints. Assist in drawing up and implementation of HACCP plans at the sites.
Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
Ensure that all processes contributing to the performance are conducted properly.
Manage and maintain databases for quality systems.
Recording, analysing and distributing statistical information for monthly operational quality assurance reports, and quality trends.
Report the status of quality levels of staff, systems and production activities.

Required Skills

5 Years of Experience

Qualifications

Relevant National Diploma or degree qualification in science or quality management
Minimum 5 years Laboratory /Quality systems with an in depth understanding of final product quality and the processes involved
Exposure to HACCP / ISO Quality Standards a pre-requisite
Computer literate
Track record of executing accurate analysis.
Experience in multi-tasking to manage various timelines .
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management
Experience in managing a team
Experience with ISO 9001 and Quality management as well as auditing systems
Experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration and operation.
