OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Sales portfolio for the Learning Solutions business. This will entail key account management, management of the sales team and achievement of the sales budget.

(PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE SELLING LEARNING SOLUTIONS/ TRAINING IS A MUST HAVE)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

Main responsibilities consist of the following, but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement the strategy and plan for the sales department aligned to the Learning Solution strategy
  • Conduct a capability assessment of all team member and create new plans to address the gaps identified
  • Manage the sales budget and provide monthly feedback as required
  • Create and implement sales commission plans and targets and manage team members performance according to their targets
  • Ensure that sales structure and teams are in place to reach the sales targets and ensure that the sales structure is aligned to the sales strategy
  • Work closely with the regional Business Unit Managers and sales teams regarding the attainment of targets
  • Identify key clients and ensure that key client plans are in place within the current and new client base to ensure that integrated training solutions are created
  • Assist with compiling business proposals according to the clientâ??s specifications.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders
  • Conduct and in-depth analysis of the business client base and map clients according to the opportunities identified
  • Align the sales department with the Altron Group sales procedure and training interventions
  • Expand the business sales offerings in international geographies
  • Conduct benchmark research on market trends and sales opportunities to guide the business on potential opportunities.
  • Research business opportunities and viable income streams.
  • In addition, identify and map business strengths and customer needs
  • Work Closely with the Practice Leads to identify opportunities within key OEM areas.

 

Skills and Experience:
  • A tertiary qualification in the business management and sales qualification
  • Proven track record of experience in managing a sales team (5-10 years management experience)
  • 5-10 yearsâ?? experience in managing a budget
  • 5-10 years in managing a sales function 3-5 yearsâ?? experience in selling to international geographies
  • 2-3 yearsâ?? experience operating at a Manco or Exco level

Experience required:

  • In-depth knowledge on sale remuneration structures
  • In-depth knowledge of the Learning Solutions trends
  • In-depth Financial knowledge
  • Ability to strategies and create sales plans
  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies
