National Sales Representative / Account Manager – Cape Town – R40 000 CTC

National Sales Representative \/ Account Manager - Cape Town - R40 000 CTC Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 About the Role Are you a target-driven sales professional with exceptional account management skills in the packaging industry? You will be responsible for expanding client base across South Africa, driving revenue, and managing key relationships-primarily supplying packaging solutions to the food industry. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales: Identify, source, and convert potential leads into new customers nationwide. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with your assigned client portfolio to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Order & Delivery Oversight: Oversee orders from placement to final delivery to guarantee seamless customer service. Account Administration & Collections: Monitor account standings, ensure prompt client payments, and assist with collecting outstanding balances. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare sales reports, update price lists on company systems, and maintain accurate client data files. Communication & Meetings: Report directly to the Managing Director and Sales Manager, and participate actively in mandatory sales meetings. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Matric certificate. Computer Literacy: High proficiency is critical and non-negotiable (must be skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Language Skills: Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written) due to a large Afrikaans-speaking client base. Mobility: Valid South African Driver's License and reliable own vehicle (national travel required as needed). Industry Experience (Advantageous): Prior sales\/account management experience in the plastic packaging industry is highly preferred. Experience selling into the food manufacturing\/processing industry is a major benefit
