.Net Developer (12 Months Contract)

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, reliable and high-performance applications using .Net Core and C#
• Assist in architecting new solutions
• Research, evaluate and recommend software libraries and integration and testing tools
• Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
• Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements or enhancements
• Communicate effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Continually seek opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and manage expectations effectively
• Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline is required, or equivalent work experience and technical training
• Minimum of 5 years technical work experience in a team environment as a software developer
• Experience working with .Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, JSON, XML, Git, TeamCity and messaging technologies such as AMQP, JMS, RabbitMQ, Tibco or ActiveMQ
• Frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS or similar frameworks
• Strong relational database experience (MS SQL Server)
• Experience with reporting tools like Power BI Reporting Services or SQL Server Reporting Services is required
• Experience with Docker and Cloud Computing platforms will be advantageous

• S/he will need the ability to interpret functional specifications / use-case diagrams / user stories in order to develop solutions
• S/he will have a strong awareness and interest in the financial markets
