.Net Developer

SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Claremont, Cape Town, is seeking a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a full qualification, at least 5 years of experience, and proven expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL, with a solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and design. Experience or familiarity with .NET Core and Entity Framework is highly advantageous. This is a hybrid position; however, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site for the first three months as part of the initial six-month probation period. We're looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, who is self-motivated, well-organized, and eager to continuously learn new technologies. A strong aptitude for problem-solving and optimizing performance to meet both technical and business requirements is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Full Qualification
• 5+ years’ experience
• Experience working with C#
• Experience with ASP.Net
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS database concepts and design
• Exposure to or good understanding of .Net Core
• Exposure to or good understanding of Entity Framework
• Exceptional communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Organized and the willingness to always learn new technologies.
• Competent problem-solver when developing ways to optimize performance and satisfy both technical and business needs

• Support of existing development code base, including patches and enhancements
• Documenting the current code base, including ensuring proper code management and version control
• Developing new solutions based on business requirements
• Understanding business processes and aligning these requirements within a development environment
• Assisting senior developers with any overflow workload
• Implementing development best practices
• Ensuring that code development aligns with the IT infrastructure roadmap, including cloud development
• Investigating current development trends and proposing potential new practices to the team
• Fulfilling a Database Administration role, including database support, analytics, and reporting
