Introduction:
The client is looking for a Network Engineer with ISP/ Core experience, to join their team in Arcadia, Pretoria.

Experience and Qualifications:

5 years’ experience work on a ISP network.
Minimum CCNP.
Expert knowledge of Cisco routers and switches including CRS and ASR9000.
Expert knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS (6PE,6VPE, VPNv4), RSVP, LACP, LDP, Cisco IOS, IOS XR, IOS XE.
Expert knowledge of Metro Ethernet Services and FNO experience.
Expert knowledge of network design and implementation.

Required Skills/ Certificates:

Good knowledge of network security principles.
Advanced understanding of all layers of the TCP/IP protocol stack.
Strong ability to identify and analyse requirements and design/implement the best solution. Strong ability to troubleshoot network problems and see it through to resolution.
Calix, SD-Access and SDN experience will be advantageous.
