SUMMARY:
One of our external clients in the mining industry is looking for a Network Infrastructure Specialist to ensure the robustness and continuous availability of all network infrastructure supporting technical mining processes across our region.

The Network Infrastructure Specialist ensures the robustness, performance, and continuous availability of network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN/Mesh, Voice, Perimeter Security) across mining operations in their designated region.

POSITION INFO:
What You Bring:
ð Bachelor’s degree in Information Management or related discipline
ð» Strong proficiency in networking protocols, security, and infrastructure tools
ð Desirable certifications: CCNA, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+
â Experience in mining, oil & gas, utilities, metals, or similar heavy industries

Key Responsibilities:
â Oversee and maintain regional network, voice, and perimeter security infrastructure
â Drive performance, reliability, and capacity of critical systems
â Manage network licensing and vendor performance
â Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents
â Implement industry best practices and lead risk management initiatives
â Liaise with internal teams and vendors to drive service excellence
