SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity for a Network Specialist with experience in industrial networking, switching, VLANs, Fibre, VPNs, IoT, firewalls, and cybersecurity (mines, factories, water, solar etc).

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

BTech Diploma / Degree in Network Engineering (preferable - or similar).
CompTIA: A+, N+, S+
CCNA (CISCO) Layer 2 / Layer 3 certified.
Valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

Minimum 4-5 years of experience in industrial networking and field support (control & instrumentation technician experience).
Knowledge of C+ and C++ (advantageous).
Linux knowledge (advantageous).
Strong understanding and experience in networking, Wi-Fi, IoT (LAN and WAN), switching, VLANs, Fibre, VPNs, and IoT.
Proficient in Microsoft and Windows.
Enthusiastic about industrial OT networks & IT.

Duties:

Provide technical sales support, consulting, and innovative industrial networking solutions based on our full range of products.
Travels to site as and when necessary (travel allowance provided).
Work with industrial networking, switching, VLANs, Fibre, VPNs, IoT, firewalls, and cybersecurity (mines, factories, water, solar)
Identify hardware and software issues, provide troubleshooting, diagnosis, repairs, and solutions (installation, configuration & deployment).
Conduct SAT and FAT product testing and offer technical support.
Facilitate technical product training in industrial networking.
Provide proficient reporting (case study solutions).
Perform RMA product testing and troubleshooting.
Manage time, projects, and additional assignments to meet company strategic objectives.
Design, support, and implement industrial IT infrastructure solutions.
Identify and resolve hardware/software issues, provide solutions, troubleshoot, and perform repairs.
Strong communication, problem-solving, reporting, time management, and project management skills.
Innovative, service-driven, motivated, fast learner with a passion for IT.
Enthusiastic about industrial OT networks & IT.
Maintain necessary certifications and participate in ongoing training.
