SUMMARY:
DBN000271 - New Business Developer - Sandton

Purpose of the Job:

Drive growth by identifying, securing, and closing new business opportunities, while maintaining a strong pipeline and consistently meeting targets.

Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Commerce.
2–3 years’ experience in new business development or solution sales.
Valid driver’s licence with own reliable transport.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience selling business solutions (e.g., MPS, software, workflow).

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Proactively source and secure new business opportunities through outreach and networking.
Schedule and attend at least 8 new client meetings per week.
Analyse client needs and present tailored solutions across service offerings.
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and performance reports.
Support forecasting and consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
Deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals with smooth client handover.
