New Business Development Consultant

SUMMARY:
National company in the freight/logistics and courier sector is looking for an experienced New Business Development Consultant to join their team at their Gauteng office.

POSITION INFO:

 Duties and Responsibilities:                      

• Identify and Target prospects to secure new business appointments, this is done through cold calling (physical door to door calling or telephonic calling)
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers'' businesses and requirements by listening to customer requirements and presenting solutions appropriately
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and “closing the deal”.
• Challenging objections with a view to getting the customer to buy with the client.
• Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a Tender, RFQ, RFP’s and formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers'' businesses and requirements.
• Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.

Education and Skills:

• Matric pass and completion
• Must be experienced in Courier and New Business Sales
• Computer Literacy: Google, Word, Excel and CRM System
• Methodical, articulate and systematic
• Excellent Communication Skills {Written and Oral}
• Strong Administrative Skills
• Candidates should have a vehicle license and roadworthy vehicle.
• Candidates must have a smart phone and be prepared to use it in the maintenance of clients and generation of new business
• Candidate must have a likable demeanor and be able to interact easily with customer’s / colleagues
• Energetic, high action person.
• Well Groomed appearance
• Self-starter and Self-motivator
