SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled, motivated and dedicated individual who would like to be part of the team.

Purpose of the job: 

To create new business opportunities for the company and expand the scope, growth, and clientele of the company.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities  
include but not limited to the following:

  • Develop, review, and implement new business strategies.
  • Create new business relationships with potential clients.
  • Acquire more business acumen through research, and analysis of industry trends and developments.
  • Design commercial and financial models for the company.
  • Drive innovative product offering and digitalisation of the company offerings.
  • Determine commercial policies for the company which will guide standard terms for contracts.
  • Identify and assess commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure that stakeholder relationships comply with business goals and policies.
  • Negotiate and review client commercial agreements and ensure their profitability.
  • Assess costing and pricing to ensure all costs have been considered.
  • Network with potential suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with other industries experts for new business opportunities and adoption of the company products and service offerings.
  • Co-ordinate with the management team to evaluate and increase efficiency and effectiveness across the value chain in order to drive and increase sales revenue.
  • Develop new product investment proposals.
  • Oversee and drive the sales of the company while enhancing the customer experience.
  • Analyse financial performance of the company product offerings.
  • Manage the departmental budget.
  • Design financial key performance indicators to measure and track progress.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge: 
  • Grade 12
  • Post Graduate Degree in Business Management or any other relevant field.
  • At least 5 years Business Management experience
  • Accomplished problem-solver, logical and analytical thinker.
  • Responsible and hands-on leader with an eagerness to be fully involved in the daily operations.
  • Strategic mindset with excellent business acumen.
  • Ability to work in a pressurized and deadline-driven operating environment.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills, and decision making.
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strategy & systems thinking skills.
  • Financial modelling
  • Results-focused
