SUMMARY:
One of the industry leaders is looking for a successful Business Development Executive to join their Cape Town Team.

POSITION INFO:

A large, successful and leading Freight Forwarding company is now looking for a New Business hunter - Business Development Executive based in the Western Cape with a background targeting large corporate accounts.

In this role you will be responsible for identifying, winning and developing new business revenue streams in Freight Forwarding

Responsibilities:
Ensure new business is won in line with budget expectations through proactive management of the sales process.
Stimulate, grow and maintain a Corporate Sales pipeline.
Work closely with Operations and follow a formal handover procedure to deliver smooth implementation of new business.
Establish compliance with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and provide accurate data, manage and update the sales pipeline including any movements in the pipeline and its implications on budgets / forecasts.
Monitor market conditions, development potential and competitor activity and report back to the business accordingly.

Core skills required:
Direct freight sales experience

Core knowledge required:
Transportation business OR Logistics/supply chain background.
Minimum selling experience 1 years of NEW Business.
