SUMMARY:
A leading organization, within the security services industry, is seeking a newly qualified CA(SA), or a professional eligible to register as a CA(SA), to join its high-performance finance team.
POSITION INFO:
This is a tough, fast-paced and highly accountable environment. It will suit someone with a strong, assertive personality who is confident in their technical ability, comfortable engaging firmly with stakeholders, and able to operate under pressure.
The role combines the responsibilities of a Senior Accountant and a Junior Financial Manager, offering broad exposure across operational finance, reporting, controls and business support.
This is not a role for someone looking to ease into industry; it’s for someone ready to step up early and prove themselves in a demanding setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review management accounts and month-end processes
- Handle journals, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Provide operational finance support to business units
- Engage with stakeholders across operations to ensure financial accuracy
- Identify risks, control gaps and process improvement opportunities
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to senior finance and management
Job Experience and Skills Required:- Newly qualified CA(SA) or eligible to register as a CA(SA)
- Assertive, confident personality with the ability to challenge where needed
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure, performance-driven culture
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
- Resilient, driven and able to take ownership early in their career
