Our client, a leading vehicle brand manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic Dealer Administrator for their Auto Fleet Sales department.
The purpose of the role is to provide essential administrative and logistical support to the Fleet Sales team. This includes managing internal operations, processing orders, coordinating vehicle movements, and ensuring seamless delivery and documentation processes.
Remuneration
R 280 000 – R 300 000 per annum – Benefits including Provident Fund & Medical Aid and 13th Cheque
POSITION INFO:
Duties include:
- Book and reserve vehicles in line with client orders
- Create and manage vehicle distribution lists
- Monitor and follow up on PDIs and accessory fitments
- Coordinate vehicle licensing and registration
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of licence discs and number plates
- Oversee vehicle movement and delivery logistics
- Reduce vehicle downtime by proactively improving processes
- Prepare monthly reports and consolidate data on sales and stock
- Manage internal fleet vehicles for the department
- Assist with business development activities for rental and fleet clients
- Handle general administrative duties and respond to internal and external queries
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure service delivery throughout the order-to-delivery process
- Ensure SLA turnaround times are met consistently
- Oversee the accreditation of new and existing client depots and workshops
- Facilitate quarterly “nuts and bolts” operational review sessions per region
Requirements and Essential Skills: - Grade 12/Matric (or equivalent) required; a Diploma in Business Administration or similar field will be advantageous
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive or related industry – Administrative
- Exposure to Fleet environment is beneficial
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet-based tools
- Strong time management, planning, and organising skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
