SUMMARY:
An International Mining Company has a CONTRACT vacancy for an OT System Analyst with IM Technical Skillset, analysis, implementation and soutions

To ensure enterprise-wide coordination and delivery of OT (Operational Technology) Infrastructure related work.

Planning and analysis of all OT technical systems in Anglo American with a strong focus on project delivery, networks, and back-office management in the Operational Technology environment.

POSITION INFO:
Please note this is a CONTRACT Position.   Only candidates with the necessary experience will be considered.

To ensure enterprise-wide coordination and delivery of OT (Operational Technology) Infrastructure related work.

Planning and analysis of all OT technical systems in Anglo American with a strong focus on project delivery, networks, and back-office management in the Operational Technology environment.
8 years minimum relevant IT/OT technical experience

Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs for the IT/OT organisation and manage changes to such specifications
Applies technical and business process knowledge and serves as an expert in terms of recommending and driving technical and process improvements.
Provides input into the standard catalogue of IIT infrastructure products and services for solutions in an area of responsibility.
Explain technical solutions to non-technical staff
Stay abreast of advances in technology, primarily Operational Technology
Management and support of the various project planning environments.
Provide the necessary documentation.
Review project activities for compliance with procedures and standards.
Contributing to technical strategy, policy and procedures for OT.
Budgetary control and forecast in the environment of responsibility.
Management and liaison of supplier/contractual relationships.
Monitoring and responding to issues.
Delivering on project plans.
Analysis of current and future processes/systems.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Maintain professionalism, good attitude and appropriate behavior with OT personnel, clients and vendors.
Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly workplace/office.

Strong understanding of project methodologies
Broad range of exposure to various technical environments
System analysis and integration.
Orchestrate documentation of procedures, standards and activities.
Information processing principles, methods and procedures
Knowledge of Cisco / Wireless Mesh architectures
Propose workable solutions and improvements.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to effectively use judgement
Ability to lead, develop and motivate other team players
