Office Manager (Month to month contract)

SUMMARY:
This is an immediately available month to month contract for a Office and Accounts Manager.

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office and Accounts Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy professional services environment. This pivotal role involves managing a small admin team, ensuring smooth office functionality, and taking ownership of accounting and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for supervising the Office Administrator, Receptionist, Tender Administrators, and Accounting Trainees, while coordinating everything from front-office operations and facilities to statutory compliance and HR admin.
• Key duties will include overseeing tender submissions, handling accounts payable and receivable, tracking budgets, managing WIP and invoicing, and supporting financial reporting.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in office management or accounting, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Proven leadership and team supervision experience
• Solid accounting knowledge, including invoicing, reporting, and budget tracking
• Excellent multitasking, organisation, and communication skills
• Experience in a SME/audit firm would be advantageous
