POSITION INFO:
Are you a detail-driven accounting professional looking to step into a dynamic role where the numbers really matter? We’re working with a leading player in the mining industry known for innovation, resilience, and a strong commitment to sustainable growth. They’re seeking a motivated Operational Accountant to join their on-site finance team and play a key role in day-to-day operations.

As an Operational Accountant, you’ll be embedded within site operations and act as a critical link between finance and production teams. Your mission? To deliver accurate, timely financial insights and reporting that supports data-led decision making across the business.

Duties Include (Not Limited To):

Monitor and report daily production and cost performance against budgets and forecasts
Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with site financial reporting
Assist with capital expenditure tracking and project cost control
Support the budgeting and forecasting process
Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies

Education:

Completed BCom Degree in a related field

Experience:

3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
Mining industry experience beneficial
