The business has a strong connection to its farming operations and produces a diverse range of innovative, value-added rooibos products. Apply now with your updated CV. Duties: Processing and verifying financial transactions, supplier invoices, purchase orders and operational expenses. Monitoring expenditure, assisting with budget amendments and investigating variances. Performing reconciliations and monitoring operational costs to identify discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities. Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting. Maintaining accurate financial records and accounting systems. Supporting operational teams with purchasing, financial procedures and cost-control processes. Coordinating international freight bookings and export shipments, including shipment tracking and documentation. Liaising with freight forwarders and shipping agents. Capturing and reconciling freight and export-related costs and verifying supplier invoices. Maintaining accurate supporting documentation for export and freight activities. Identifying opportunities to improve financial and operational processes. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting BCom Honours in Accounting Experience: Completed Articles 3+ years' experience in financial or operational accounting. Experience within FMCG, retail or a sales-driven environment would be advantageous. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
