SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Operational manager

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience:

Business Management Diploma/ Degree Post Graduate (MBA) will be advantageous
Post graduate qualification, preferably Engineering
Minimum of 5-7 years at Senior Management level in a similar, i.e. manufacturing or engineering
Effective sales and marketing capabilities to ensure a healthy sales demand
PC Literacy is essential, with working knowledge of SAP and SYSPRO systems.

Duties but not limited to:

The successful candidate will oversee the overall management and functions of the company to
deliver on the agreed business targets;
Develop and manage high performing multi-functional work teams that coordinates daily
activities to achieve business objectives;
Implement business plans to ensure business targets are achieved
Ensure full compliance to legislation with regards to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality;
Ensure that proper standards of Quality are maintained in accordance with existing quality policy;
Preparation of annual, middle and long term budgets and forecasts;
Ensure implementation of the required manufacturing program in order to meet the commercial
objectives;
Ensure operation is properly equipped to handle current and future business demands;
Develop and oversee succession planning strategies and implementation of effective
performance management system.
