Are you a commercially minded finance professional with a passion for driving operational efficiency and financial performance?

POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking an experienced Operational Financial Manager to lead and optimise the financial operations of their business, providing strategic insight and hands-on guidance to improve key processes and support long-term growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing strategic direction on financial operations and process design
Developing and implementing robust financial procedures and controls
Monitoring and optimising operational expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX)
Partnering with executive and operational teams to improve financial decision-making
Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and performance enhancements
Driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial regulations
Supporting business cases for investment and ensuring return on capital alignment

Requirements:

BCom degree in Accounting/Finance.
8+ years’ experience in a similar operational finance leadership role
Proven track record in managing OPEX and CAPEX effectively
Strong knowledge of financial systems, reporting, and process optimisation
Strategic thinker with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
