OPERATIONAL MANAGER (CERES)

They are seeking an energetic and driven Operational Manager who shares their commitment to high performance and brings a strong “can-do” attitude to the role. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-focused, and leads with a positive, practical leadership style that motivates teams and drives operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualification in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or a related Business field
• Proven experience in operations or project management
• Experience in systems management
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Strategic and visionary thinking ability
• Advanced computer literacy (experience with HAS+ or similar operations/logistics software will be advantageous)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage after-hours crises
• High ethical standards and integrity
• Innovative, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capability
• Valid EC1 driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for overseeing daily operations, fleet management, staff supervision, service delivery, and compliance for portable toilet and sanitation services across the Western Cape.
• Ensures efficient, safe, and customer-focused operations while controlling costs and improving overall efficiency.
• Develops and maintains effective systems to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Oversees the building, development, and commissioning of new units.

A market-related remuneration package is offered, including contributions to a Pension Fund.
