Operations Consultant

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for a IT Operations Consultant for a 12 month contract in Midrand.

Must be available immediately

• 3+ years of the full project life cycle
• Relevant IT / Business Degree
• Project Management/ Agile budget experience is  essential

 

 

• Knowledge of Project Lifecycle (ITPM) and Agile Working Model - advantageous
  Knowledge of JIRA Confluence - advantageous
• Must be able to work independently
  Strong Problem-Solving Skills and Presentation skills
• Great organizing skills and deadline driven
• Ability to take initiative and operate within highly stressful environment
• Delivering operations IT support services
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Provide general assistance to the Operations team and end users
• Adhere to the PIC processes (Problem, Incident Change Management
• Perform daily operations tasks and end user support
• Creation of pertinent test documentation
• Enable end user knowledge transfer and training
• Work closely with other functional consultants, developers, product owners and various global stakeholders in a bigger feature team

• Responsible for making sure that the department complies to the governance standards from AWM perspective
• Making sure that all the relevant documentation required to release a change to an application is completed and stored against an application on Confluence
