JOB SUMMARY:
Operations Controller (Distribution - Logistics) - Durbanville - Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main purpose of the job:

Daily route planning, operations monitoring, close communication with driver and client in order to ensure deliveries are made as per planned route.

Preferred Minimum Requirements:

Matric
3-4 Supervisory experience - preferably in a Controller position
Excellent communication skills
Computer Literate

Knowledge

Knowledge and understanding of how transport integrates into a total supply chain environment and how to optimise transport planning, routing and scheduling.
Knowledge and understanding of client service and satisfaction.

Skills

Problem identification
Monitoring
Conflict handling
Good communication & Problem solving skills
Information gathering and processing skills
Need to be Client focussed

Please note due to the location - the Applicant need to have their own transport.
