SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a strong Head of Operations (can also be called Supply Chain Director) to join a major Logistics and Transport company.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

This person will be responsible for all accounts of clients across 2 major divisions, in South Africa, aligning the company strategy across all operations, including inbound airfreight.

This position is accountable for a world-class solution to clients, including contract logistics in terms of client relations, performance of operations, performance in terms of commercial and finance, managing people, development new clients, continuous improvement and new initiatives.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Job Experience & Skills Required:

10+ years’ experience in Automotive production logistics.
Extensive experience regarding Contract Logistics, specifically

-Managing warehouses

-Managing distribution

-Managing transport

Experience in driving strategies over multiple departments and business units.
Experience in supporting multiple projects

Remuneration:

R 1 300 000 – R 1 -----
