Experience in production management ideally from within the steel industry. Experience in design for customer specific product development. Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.

POSITION INFO:

In-depth knowledge of production processes to organise and oversee the design and manufacture of a wide range of electromechanical steel products. Be responsible for the smooth running of production and the quality of output to schedule and budget. Lead the design process, organise workflow as well as monitor and drive production. Enforce and develop health and safety and environmental systems to meet standards. Manage and support SHEQ initiatives and objectives. Define, propose and implement production targets and plans. Manage and ensure ISO 9000 and SABS regulations are adhered to. Jhb based.
