A leading national supplier of Electric Motors, Variable Speed Drives, and Gearboxes is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager with Sales & Admin support to join their Durban branch.

POSITION INFO:
Operations Manager \/ Sales & Administration Location: Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal Position Type: Permanent Salary: Market related Position Overview Our client is looking for a reliable, hands-on and highly organised Operations Manager \/ Sales & Administration professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business while supporting the internal and external sales functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that operational procedures are followed, stock is accurately managed, administration is up to date and the sales team and customers receive efficient support. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the business. Ensure company procedures and processes are consistently followed. Manage and maintain accurate stock records and inventory systems. Conduct and oversee regular weekly stock takes. Capture and update stock information on the inventory management system. Assist with internal sales and customer enquiries when required. Provide support to external sales representatives. Assist with quotations, orders, invoicing and general sales administration. Ensure accurate and timely processing of documentation. Monitor operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement. Manage and coordinate staff and ensure productivity and accountability. Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments. Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained. Assist management with general administrative and operational requirements. Minimum Requirements Matric \/ Grade 12. Previous experience in operations, sales administration, stock\/inventory or branch management . Strong administrative and organisational skills. - Previous experience working on Pastel is essential Good computer literacy, including MS Excel . Experience with an inventory or stock management system. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Previous experience managing or supervising staff would be advantageous. Must be comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment .
