SUMMARY:
A gorgeous river-side lodge in the Serengeti, Tanzania is seeking an experienced OPERATIONS MANAGER to join their leadership team.

POSITION INFO:
This is a hands-on support role for someone who thrives in a remote, high-end safari environment and enjoys the full mix of guest care, staff leadership and daily operations. You'll work closely with senior management to keep a small, intimate luxury lodge running smoothly on every level, from front of house to F&B to conservation initiatives. Core Criteria: Higher diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality management 3-4 years' relevant experience Fluent in English, written and spoken Computer literate Strong analytical and problem-solving ability High attention to detail and a critical, questioning approach to standards Good communication and interpersonal skills Able to work under pressure and stay accurate and customer-focused Proactive, self-motivated and willing to teach and inspire others Comfortable with flexible hours in a remote lodge setting Core Responsibilities: Support senior management in the day-to-day running of the lodge Train and develop staff, and lead by example on service standards Check guests in and out, and oversee guest rooms and public areas Manage food and beverage operations to company standard Place daily operational orders within budget and delegate as needed Maintain lodge administrative functions and monitor beverage control Coordinate guest information and requests across arrivals and departures Oversee uniform standards and staff presentation Lead conservation and sustainability initiatives at the property Manage staff welfare activities and internal communication Attend management meetings and contribute to forecasting and admin Host and connect with guests daily, addressing feedback as it arises On Offer: Permanent live-in position Market related salary.
