SUMMARY:
Operations Manager Warehouse and Distribution FMCG

POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager.

Duties:

• Ensuring effective fleet management
• Ensuring quality and accuracy of delivered product
• Ensuring that the Warehouses are effectively managed
• Stock accuracy, monthly stock takes and reporting variances to Management
• Fleet purchases
• Building strong relationships with all suppliers
• Annual budget
• Enhance labour relationships
• Submit monthly key ratios to measure and benchmark the enire regional logistic operating cost
• Liaising with internal customers and providing the team with cost effective solutions to drive unit cost down
• Customer relationships
• Establishing the Warehouse and the Distribution budget
• Ensure company standards and FSSC requirements
• Managing the regional forklift fleet

Requirements:

• Relevant Qualification
• BCom Supply Chain advantageous
• SAP & HACCP advantageous
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the warehouse and distribution/transport industry
• At least 5 years management experience
• FMCG advantageous
• General knowledge of heavy commercial behicles
