SUMMARY:
Leading logistics company is urgently looking for an Operations Manager who will be managing all operational staff to be based in the Vaal Triangle area

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Experience:

3 - 5 years experience in senior transport position
Successful implementation of projects
Managing a logistics function consisting of multiple accounts
Ensuring the achievement of budgeted profits
Responsible for the site safety program and ensures that the environment supports the safety of all employees
Manage the logistics function and all related resources for single/multiple accounts
Ensure sound customer and client relations are established and maintained
Oversee the financial performance of the operation
Maintain safe and reliable fleet, equipment and working environment
Manage and implement strategic and operational responsibilities
Maintain high service levels in the department
Manage the efficient scheduling and accurate execution of loads
KPI reporting and presenting
Managing a team of +-25 staff members
Client liaison
Experience working within a tipper / mining environment will be an advantage

Qualifications:

Matric / Grade 12 certificate

Tertiary qualification in Logistics / Transport Management
