POSITION INFO:

A leading company operating within the Logistics space is look for an Operations Manager to join their Johannesburg South based Finance team.

Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification specialising in Logistics and/or Transport Management is required
Minimum 5 years’ previous working experience within a similar position at senior and/or managerial level is required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly advantageous

Job description & Skills:

Managing the entire Logistics function including relating resources for all respective accounts
Overseeing and managing the performance of business operations
Engaging with customers and ensuring sound customer and/or client relations
Maintaining the safe and reliable operation of the fleet and equipment
Maintaining high service levels within the Finance department
Providing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and presenting
Assisting with ad hoc duties and/or tasks to provide support for the Finance department
