JOB SUMMARY:
An exciting vacancy exists for a Operations Manager for a client in the Financial Industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Operations:

  • Assist with strategic planning
  • Assist with implementing strategies of the Association
  • Assist in providing strategic direction
  • Participates in the development and implementation of the mission, vision and values
  • Compile and submit strategic reports (annual reports)
  • Strategic monitoring, evaluation and reporting
  • Break down strategic goals into key performance areas for the company, allocate resources and set targtes.
  • Coordinates the overall business operations
  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations
  • Keeps CEO informed by reviewing and analyzing work
  • Coordinate the development of job descriptions
  • Develop additional income streams
  • Attend meetings with members and stakeholders sits on various forums like fraud forum to present the interest of the members.
  • Represents the MFSA at meetings and committees

Communication:

  • Communicate to members, staff, Board Members and Stakeholders – corporate communications such as newsletters. Research, etc
  • Development of presentation relevant concepts and presentations
  • Delivering presentations ranging from 10 people to 250 people
  • Writing of business letters – on behalf of the CEO
  • Writing of newsletters
  • Manage and handle several information channels telephone communication, e-mail, social media.
  • Compiling written communication for staff / clients / partners / suppliers
  • Write, edit and distribute all company newsletters
  • Design presentations for CEO and BoD within the organisation
  • Implement and expand a social media strategy
  • Reporting of media coverage to staff (Internal)
  • Printing and help with design process of Banners & Annual Reports
  • To manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution
Marketing:
  • Development of marketing material
  • Development of budgets for marketing initiatives
  • Development membership information material
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities
  • Preparing sales documentation such as proposals, brochures, special offers to clients
  • Develop and maintain the brand of the MFSA
  • Website administration keep the website updated and monitor the performance of the website
  • Social Media updates and development

Public Relations:

  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
  • Sourcing and securing sponsorship
  • Establish and maintain positive perceptions of the organisation
  • Compile documentation and submissions to stakeholders
  • Identify & maintain relationships with customers & service providers
  • Relationship-building with all key stakeholders
  • Attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions

Events:

  • Organising events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Plan, co-ordinate and manage all events of the organisation at Local, Provincial and assist in International level
  • Conduct research to identify new events opportunities for the Association

Member Services:

  • Resolves problems & member enquiries related to Industry Customer service
  • Member satisfaction Surveys Customer Service
  • Attend Member meetings Customer Service
  • Share Industry information and insight with members Customer Services
  • Communicate with members via telephone, letter and email Customer Service
  • Conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups – with consultant
  • Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings – with consultant
  • Conduct research on the level of satisfaction with both internal and external stakeholders.

Service Provider & Stakeholder Management:

  • Introduce service providers to the association explaining the services and opportunities,. benefits, application procedure to become an associate member
  • Consider applications of potential service providers and make recommendation to the CEO
  • Forward approved applications to secretary for registration
  • Liaise with service providers to optimise the benefits that they can receive from their associate membership.

Governance:

  • Develop and take minutes of EXCO, FINCO and Board Meeting
  • Develop Agenda of EXCO, FINCO and Board Meeting
  • Keep record of all the Directors (CIPC)
  • Ensure that all the company details are updated at CIPC.
  • Distribute AGM notices in accordance with MOI of the company.
  • Keep MOI up to date in accordance with relevant resolutions of the AGM together with the Operations Manager
