Reporting into the GM you will be responsible for the overall performance and well-being of the warehouse receiving, storage transport and picking departments of the distribution centre, its staff and its customers. Monitoring operational capacity and process to ensure the sustainability of the distribution centre warehouse operations at the right cost and to the right quality standards

Key performance areas

Cost control Warehouse expenditure is managed within budget.
Labour is managed within budgeted KPIâ€™s.
Stock losses and damages are managed within budgeted KPIâ€™s.
Repairs and maintenance is managed within budgeted KPIâ€™s.
DC is consistently compliant with all Company procedures.
Warehouse quality standards are consistently maintained in accordance with DQSP requirements
Machinery is managed within budgeted KPIâ€™s
Picking and Receiving
Health and safety
DC is consistently compliant with all Company procedures.
Warehouse quality standards are consistently maintained in accordance with DQSP requirements

Qualifications and experience

Tertiary degree in Supply Chain / logistics Management or similar.
5 â€“ 7 Years in Warehousing & Distribution Management role within a QSR / FMCG / Multi-temp environment.
Advanced Warehouse Management Systemâ€™s experience
