Operations Manager – FinTech | Johannesburg (Hybrid)

A leading FinTech company is on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-driven Operations Manager to join their expanding team! If you have a strong finance background and a passion for seamless payment solutions, this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting South Africa’s ultimate payment gateway.

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do:

Oversee and optimise key operational elements of the payment gateway offering
Execute strategic projects that impact payments and client experience
Work closely with Compliance to ensure regulatory alignment
Monitor service performance and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks
Provide high-level support to customers and internal teams
Analyze data, generate reports, and identify trends to improve efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and elevate service
Keep clients informed through structured communication and updates

Requirements:

Finance or Legal Degree
2+ years in accounting, finance, or similar field
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services is an advantage
Strong analytical thinking and a logical approach to troubleshooting
A passion for operations in a high-growth, tech-driven environment
