Our client is a technology company, who develops mobile-enabled, cloud-hosted, enterprise software that is contributing towards creating productive societies across Africa.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with experience with deployment of Digital/Mobile Technology solutions in Africa, to join our client’s team based in Johannesburg.

What you will do:

• You will be part of expanding our reach to other African countries by managing the client and channel journey to ensure effective deployment and adoption of solutions in new regions.
• As Channel Operations Manager you will manage regional teams to ensure delivery of product implementations as per the client’s expectations. This will include continuous communication to manage the client or account, reporting, quality assurance, and proactively identifying potential challenges in the user adoption journey.
• You will be responsible for introducing change management processes and methodologies to improve user adoption. In Product Forums, it will be expected of you to actively participate and provide feedback on improvements that will enhance the user experience. You will also be expected to assist Product Teams in keeping product documentation up to date. As part of your responsibilities, you need to ensure that Mezzanine meets and exceeds service levels and report on such performance to both the client and the COO.
• In terms of the channel journey, you will support the delivery channels as required and agreed; monitor the channel’s performance; report any challenges; and improve channel maturity in the deployment of our products.

In order to succeed in this role, experience in software operations and deployment is required. You will need good interpersonal and customer service skills - maintaining relationships with all the different stakeholders is important. The ideal individual will have an ability to manage multi-threaded timelines and should possess the desire to work across the continent.

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in software operations
• At least 3 years software deployment experience in sub-Saharan Africa
• Bachelor''s degree
• Able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Advantageous

• Experience in the ICT4D or telecommunication industry
• EE candidate
