SUMMARY:
Our Client, Emerging African phosphate explorer and developer, with phosphate mining and exploration projects on the West Coast of Africa requires an OPERATIONS MANAGER - MINING

POSITION INFO:

Mining Management Open cast (This is a Sand sedimentary deposit  6 – 8 yrs experience

Contractor Mining Management – 3 yrs. experience

QUALIFICATIONS: NQF Level 7 & Mine Managers Certificate

Analytical & mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving complex problems

Leadership skills – to manage and develop a team

Organisational competencies & Project management skills to keep projects, processes and the entire mining team on tract

Self-motivated attitude and the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment

Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience

Able to work individually or as part of a team

Be able to embrace new techniques and technologies and be interested in keeping up to date on industry requirements and advancements

Adapt to change and transformation

Drive for Continuous improvement
