Overview

Exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Operations Manager with previous retail (foods) and warehousing/ distribution experience.

Minimum Requirements:

5 or more years’ experience within an operational management experience specific to retail supply chain

Preferably have experience in using existing e-commerce services in South Africa

Solid retail experience (having dealt at management level with various supermarkets and the likes)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Search for retail locations to open pick-up points/warehouses/ distribution points

Interaction with contractors for repair supply of equipment at pick-up points / warehouse

Search and hiring of line personnel for pick-up points / warehouse

Development of business processes for picking and receiving customer orders

Personnel training

Operational management of the pick-up point team

Assisting with the formation of technical specifications for the development of the operational functionality of the IT platform
