SUMMARY:

Internationally established Manufacturing organisation based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking to appoint a hands-on Operations Optimisation Engineer.

The Operations Optimisation Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and improving current machinery and operations.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities (not limited to):

Obtain data from data capturers, analyse data, and administrate.
Monitor production processes and process flows.
Check and approve data captured by production department.
Conduct time studies on production machines and processes.
Present production data in a usable format.
Determine plant throughput Identify key areas of improvement related to production efficiency.
Determine production attainment and compare to actual production.

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
Degree in Industrial Engineering from a reputable
Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a similar manufacturing/production plant environment.
Experience in a mechanical engineering environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
