About Our Client The company operates a site based in Nasrec. The operations focus on processing, production systems, and chemical processes and equipment. The Role: Operations Support Manager The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the operational overseeing and providing support to the Site Manager. The main focus areas include designing, developing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure efficient, safe and cost-effective production, while optimizing production workflows and driving continuous improvements in operations. Key Responsibilities Possess a minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in an operational management position. Design, develop and optimize production systems. Lead projects from concept through implementation and commissioning. Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical processes and equipment to improve efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with all relevant departments to troubleshoot problems. Monitor daily production targets and throughputs from all relevant departments. Engage, evaluate, and manage vendors and contractors to ensure technical compliance, cost control, and timely delivery. Oversee system infrastructure development and drive continuous process improvements. About You Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in an operational management position. Strong knowledge of operations and processing. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong Organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead effectively. Ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Possess strategic thinking capabilities to navigate the industry''s challenges and opportunities, including forecasting future trends, identifying potential risks, and devising long-term plans. Ability to foster a team culture that values diverse perspectives, encourages open dialogue, and utilizes the unique strengths of each team member. Ability to multitask with projects, departments, and daily duties. Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Chemical Engineering.
