PET Blow Moulding Specialist

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a hands-on PET Blow Moulding Specialist to take ownership of the technical performance, optimisation, troubleshooting, and quality of our blow moulding operation.
This is a practical, factory-floor-based role suited to an individual who enjoys being actively involved in machinery, processes, and production. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues, improving machine performance, driving quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong PET blow moulding experience, a solid understanding of ISO quality systems, and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve machinery and process-related challenges.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Technical & Process Optimisation - Monitor and optimise PET blow moulding processes and machine performance. - Troubleshoot machine, process, and product quality issues. - Identify root causes of recurring production problems and implement corrective actions. - Establish and maintain optimal machine settings and process parameters. - Reduce downtime, waste, scrap, and production inefficiencies. - Support machine changeovers, setups, and process improvements. - Work closely with maintenance teams to resolve technical equipment issues. Quality & ISO Compliance - Ensure compliance with ISO quality management systems and company quality standards. - Investigate product defects, non-conformances, and customer complaints. - Implement corrective and preventative actions. - Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintain quality documentation and process records. - Drive a culture of quality throughout the manufacturing operation. Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve production efficiencies and product quality. - Recommend and implement process enhancements. - Support new product development trials and validation activities. - Assist with technical training and knowledge sharing within the production team. Qualifications and Experience Required: - Relevant technical qualification preferred. - Minimum 5 years' experience within a PET blow moulding manufacturing environment. - Strong hands-on experience with PET blow moulding machinery and processing. - Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding experience. - Sound understanding of ISO quality systems and quality control processes. - Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
